Page Keeley recently retired as the Senior Science Program Director at the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance, where she directed projects in the areas of leadership, standards-based curriculum and instruction, formative assessment, professional development design, and teaching for conceptual change. She has directed several major National Science Foundation–funded projects and has authored 21 books including the popular Uncovering Student Ideas in Science series. She provides professional development and consultation services to school districts, university programs, and math/science organizations throughout the United States and internationally to build teachers' capacity to understand and use students' thinking to inform instruction. She is a frequent keynote presenter at national conferences and served as the 63rd President of the National Science Teachers Association.
