We will explore a range of simple and inspiring practical ideas for use with students in science lessons many of them make can be used as starters, examples of science concepts or plenaries. The practical’s will include the use of mobile technology such as tablets and smart phones, homemade science equipment, use of equipment and ideas from various sources and simple ways to capture and magnify images. The session will contain practical ideas for chemistry, biology and physics.
Through demonstrations with hands on and visual activities, delegates will be able to identify where to source the equipment, where it could be used and how to use a range of practical resources.
Participants will be able to:
• Use and describe new practical ideas and equipment to colleagues
• Resource, design and prepare new practical ideas and equipment
