Science content and science skills can often be described as clashing elements in an implemented science curriculum, but it does not have to be the case. This session will look at primary science curriculum design and how content and skills can be integrated and support each other.

Working aims for the sessions are:
  • Explore the knowledge and skills debate (at least start to)
  • Think about primary science curriculum design in the context of knowledge and skills
  • Apply that thinking to your context
