Do those shocking images from Blue Planet still stick in the mind? Have you been wondering how best to address the plastics problem in your classroom? Common Seas and Encounter Edu have been working with scientists, designers and ASE to create a series of resources and live broadcasts for primary science classes.

Come to this session to gain an expert briefing on the impact of marine plastics and how best to address the topic in the classroom. The resources are linked to the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Science Programme of Study with an emphasis on working scientifically. Links are also made to numeracy, design and geography topics.
