Do you ever look at our published mark schemes and wonder why they look the way they do?
Are you confident in applying a mark scheme to your students’ work?
In this session we discuss the purpose, structure and detail of AQA GCSE Science mark schemes. We talk through the nuances and how to apply a mark scheme, with specific focus on questions assessing practical skills/ the required practical and will use examples of student work from the summer 2018 examinations.  We present ideas on how you could use our assessments in the classroom to enhance your students’ understanding and performance at different levels of demand.
