Using evidence from school-based research, this practical workshop explores activities that create opportunities for children to demonstrate a deeper understanding of primary science concepts. Delegates will puzzle over how a giraffe eats ice-cream, dissect how a platypus can have a ducks bill and debate the similarities between jellyfish and rockets.
