In this session, we will explore the results achieved by students in the first awarding of the new science GCSE specifications and provide an update on the process by which Science GCSE and A-level grades are awarded by AQA. We will consider the arrangements used to award grades to the first cohort of students examined against the new GCSE Science specifications and the arrangements for 2019 and beyond.
