All too often, Key Stage 3 has played second fiddle to its older sibling: Key Stage 4. Steadily eroded into three-year, then five-year GCSE, it is my belief that KS3 has been neglected and abandoned as a never ending cycle of circus practicals, out of date level ladders, tests that don't match taught material and mindless repetition of "fair test." We have undergone a programme of readical reimagination of our KS3 curriculum and resources: at this session I will be talking about how we have "fixed" key stage 3.
