Feedback form is now closed.
This practical session will look at a range of different ways to encourage and support child leadership of science in primary school. Specific examples and a brief overview of why this is worth doing will be shared - based on my experience working as Scientist in Residence at Gillespie Primary School, and the literature I have read whilst doing my PhD. Regardless of whether you're just starting to think about this subject, or you already have a team of Science Ambassadors in your school, there will be plenty of ideas to take away.

We will look at child leadership in four contexts:
  1. In the classroom
  2. Between classrooms
  3. Outside of lessons
  4. Between schools
- although the ideas shared can be used in any of these contexts. If you have any particular requests, let me know via twitter - I'm @HelpfulScience!
