We have also begun to realise that children's ideas are forming before they leave primary education.

CIEC has many years of working directly with science based industries to make explicit links between the science that children do in school and industrial processes.  In this session I will share some of our practical activities which are based on industrial contexts.  I will also introduce a simple card activity that we have been using to help children understand the diversity of sience careers and the diversity of people who do them.
